Our in-house pharmacy team help with patient medications. Their role is to aid with prescription queries, medication reviews and work closely with our clinical teams to provide safe and accurate prescribing.
The team also provide advance knowledge of medication interactions, and have good working relationships with community pharmacists, and the local medicines management team.

Medicine Management Team
Our team of prescription clerks process all repeat prescription requests. Review dates are monitored and passed on to GPs or our pharmacists when needed. The team also arrange annual reviews for our patients with chronic and long-term illnesses.
The team manage a list of patients who are vulnerable or need some additional help in ordering their prescriptions. These patients are called regularly to check medications are being taken and ordered correctly.
