Admin Support Team
The surgery is supported by several departments which deal with non-clinical work, from prescription requests, to summarising records, and completing referrals.
Clinical Support Team
We have our own Clinical Support Team who working closely with our clinical staff to provide administrative support.
This includes processing all paperwork within the surgery – incoming and outgoing, coding medical records with regards to information provided from secondary care, patient registrations, medical reports, and summarising records.
Admin enquiries via eConsult are also managed by this department, including requests for sick certificates.

The team work hard to ensure that patients are referred to the correct teams/individuals and apply for funding where needed. They also ensure that patients waiting for cancer referrals have been seen within the given timeframe.
