Home Visits

Doctor's bagHome Visits are for housebound patients only.  Requests for visits should be made before 10:30am on 01702 482905, the doctor on duty will decide whether you need a visit and the urgency of the request.  You may be visited by any member of the multidisciplinary team as the doctor feels appropriate.

The doctor can see at least six patients in the surgery in the time taken to do one home visit.  Many conditions require equipment or monitoring which can only be provided at the surgery.

You can also be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
