Please DO NOT attempt to book an appointment if you suspect you may have symptoms of Coronavirus. Please visit https://111.nhs.uk/service/covid-19 and use the 'Start Now' button to ascertain your appropriate course of advice and treatment.  

Appointments are at ten minute intervals and are for one medical problem only. If you feel you need a longer consultation, please inform the receptionist.

We operate a computerised appointment system.  Pre-bookable appointments are available up to two weeks in advance, these appointments are from 0700 to 0820hrs. as well as during the afternoon. The remainder of GP appointments are book on the day. 

You do not have to see the doctor with whom you are registered and can ask to see your doctor of choice if they are available. Please call in or telephone 01702 482900 to make an appointment. If you have access to the internet you could also register to be able to book a doctor’s appointment online, please ask for details at reception. 

Nurse Practitioner Appointments  (As of September 2016 - managed by Nurse Practitioners and a senior General Practitioner.) THESE APPOINTMENTS ARE STRICTLY FOR OVER 2 YEAR OLDS.

Practice Nurses

In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many ailments and you may be seen more quickly.

The Musculoskeletal Specialist  :

- Strains, Sprains, Muscle or Joint Pains or stiffness. 

Conditions a musculoskeletal specialist could help with - Back or Neck Pain, Sprains and Strains, Sprained ankles / Knees, Shoulder Pain, Osteoarthritis, Sports Injuries, Trapped Nerves, Whiplash.

Video Consultations :

Video Consultations will Be available from the 21st May at our practice for GP Appointments.

See a GP online over secure video, from home or work - on your smartphone, tablet or PC.

As part of our commitment to improving access for our patients we will be using Q doctor to enable video consultations with GPs.  This means for certain conditions you can see a GP from home or work without having to come to the surgery.  Simply call the surgery to get an appointment code then book your video consultation online! 

You will need to register first before you can use this service.  Why not do this today so you're already set up for when you do want to book an appointment.

AccuRx

In response to the Corona Virus Pandemic it is safer for everyone to minimise face-to-face contact. AccuRx Fleming is a web-based tool that healthcare providers can use to send you an SMS text message or hold a video consultation. Video consultations are safe, secure and are not recorded. It is NHS-approved. You do not need to download anything. You will receive an SMS text message with a link to click on, and you will be connected. You will need a smartphone either with WiFi/3G/4G connection. Your Internet Browser needs to have your phone’s microphone and camera enabled. Telephone Consultation

If you are offered a telephone appointment with a clinician we cannot offer you a time that the clinician will contact you.

Appointment Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else. You can cancel by phone (option 1, this is a 24hr cancellation line), in person at reception, by email to pallmallcancellations@nhs.net or text to 07814 056962.  If you booked online then please remember you can also cancel online if no longer required.
