GP practices are now contractually required to allocate a named GP to each patient. This does not prevent you from making an appointment or seeing any doctor of your choice within the surgery as you would normally do.
Named GP's are allocated by Age Range as follows:
0 - 16 years - Dr Lionel Nagle
17 - 32 years - Dr Heather Kennedy
33 - 49 years - Dr Jose Garcia
50 - 66 years - Dr Taz Syed
67 - 83 years - Dr Mustafa Ebrahimjee *
84+ years - Dr Laura Evans-Smith *
* Patients residing in residential / nursing homes will be assigned the GP responsible for the ongoing care in the the home. These patients will be notified in writing of their allocated GP.
All other patients over 75 years will be notified in writing of their allocated named GP.
